Ross is a versitle 6"9 guard that can play multiple positions. He has a high skill level and deep range from the 3 point arc. His ball handling skills and speed make him a nightmare to guard for players his size and his size and length allow him to shoot over the top of most defenses. Ross currently plays at Burlington Christian Life in New Jersey under Coach Wilson Arroya. As an 8th grader he was first noticed with a featured article in ESPN the magazine and has made various appearences in SLAM, HOOPS magazine, Dime magazine and several others. He leads a loadedt 2011 class out of the state of Mississippi.

LaQuinton Ross goes by the nickname Q. In his spare time he likes to draw and read books. His favorite musician is Wayne and Drake. Q has two younger sisters and his mother April Ross who he loves spending time with. His favorite NBA player is Kobe Bryant. He is also a huge collge football fan and NFL. Ross currentl holds a 3.4 GPA . His favorite courses are math and history. He attends church regularly at school and when he is home in Jackson MS.
