Evaluation:
Hood is a 6'8 point guard with excellent decision making skills. He shoots it well from the 3pt arc with NBA range. He is extremly athletic and has no weaknesses on the floor. Hood is a consensus 5 star player and is rated in the top 20 in his class by several scouting services. Hood was recently awarded Magnolia Prep player of the Year for his 2009-10 season. He has a finalist for Gatorade player of the year and led his highschool team in rebounds, points, and assist. He plays his high school ball at Meridian high school under Coach Randy Bolden. Rodneys favorite NBA player is Anfernee "Penny" Hardaway.

Bio:
Rodney is the son of Vicky and Ricky Hood. He is the youngest of two other siblings. Both Rodneys brother and sister played basketball, including his dad, who played several years as a pro athlete before opening his own business. Rodney loves to listen to music of all origins and play video games. He holds a 3.2 gpa and currently in the process of taking the ACT. Hood loves spending time with his grandparents and family in his spare time.
